Snake Alley's Department of Defense Authorized Motorcycles
These bikes are
dedicated to the fallen troops in "Operation Iraqi
Freedom". Now taking orders, and accepting sponsors,
on the long awaited, much anticipated, Snake Alley Custom's
Official, Department of Defense Authorized Motorcycles.
A portion of the proceeds of these military bikes, and
all other military related items, on our site, will be
donated to the USO and/or families of the fallen troops
in "Operation Iraqi Freedom". These bikes will
come with a Certificate of Authenticity, and dog tags incorporated
within the bike, with your name, and/or any soldier's or
marine's name and serial # on it. Or we will pick from
the list of fallen soldiers and marines in "Operation
Iraqi Freedom". Also coming soon, Department of
Defense Authorized US Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard
custom bikes.
The chopper bikes will be 5 up 5 out, single down
tube, 53 degree rake 2.5" lowered seat height,
single sided swing arm, air ride suspension, with special
custom wheels, with US Army or US Marines engraved
on them. 120 tire in the front, and a 300 tire in the
rear, all sheet metal hand custom fabricated for these
bikes, along with the handle bars, and many other items
on the bikes, the drive train will be a 124 S&S
twin cam, along with a Baker's 6 speed and chain drive.
The top bike is the army chopper bike, called "Apache",
and the marine chopper bike is called "Super Cobra".
The tank™ bikes are 0 up 6 out, single down
tube, 52 degree rake, 2.5" lowered seat height,
custom swing arm, air ride suspension, with special
custom wheels, with US Army or US Marines engraved
on them. 250 front tire, and a 330 rear tire, all sheet
metal hand custom fabricated for these bikes, along
with the handle bars, and many other items on the bikes.
The drive train will be a 124 S&S twin cam, along
with a Baker's 6 speed and chain drive. The Army and
Marine tank™ bikes are affectionally, and respectfully,
both called the "Grunt".
These bikes are still under construction, and price
is still yet to be determined.

Snake Alley Customs’ Army and Marine Bikes,
from its Military Bike Line, will be on the move in
2005 to raise money in support of our military men
and women around the world.
The Military Bikes -- including the Apache ChopperTM,
Grunt TankTM , Super Cobra Chopper and others -- will
be seen and heard at local Chicagoland and regional
Midwestern events throughout next year, as well at
the nation’s top bike meets, including Daytona
Bike Week, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, Laconia, NH, Biketoberfest
(Daytona) and Sturgis.
U.S. Department of Defense Authorization
Authorization from the U.S. Department of Defense allows
Snake Alley Customs to use the Army and Marine logos
on these fully custom, themed motorcycles. Each comes
with a Certificate of Authenticity, and dog tags
incorporated within the bike, with the customer’s
choice of a soldier's or marine's name and serial
number, or his or her own name.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of every Military
Bike (and all other military-related items available
through Snake Alley Customs) will be donated to the
USO and/or families of our fallen troops in "Operation
Iraqi Freedom" and elsewhere in world.
Choose From One of Three Sponsorship Ranks:
•
Sergeant: $1,000 – Companies or individuals get
their name/logo on the SAC web site; are noted as a
USO donor; and are included in all Military Bike promotions
and publicity.
• Captain: $10,000 – Companies get the
above, plus their logo/name on the Military Bike exhibit;
recognition in all Military Bike advertising; and their
logo/ name displayed on the Military Bike Trailer.
• General: $25,000 – All the above with
full exclusivity.

Why We’re Doing This
Snake Alley Customs’ founder Marty Behan has
a special connection to the military and his son, LCPL
Christopher Behan, recently returned from combat in
Iraq with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.
The Military Bike Line is Snake Alley’ of paying
tribute and raising money to support our troops and
their families. The Military Bike Line will soon be
expanded with Department of Defense Authorized U.S.
Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard custom motorcycles.
